About the role

Our ANZ community continues to grow and 8 million Australians now come to Snapchat every month. Snap’s operation in ANZ serves this highly engaged community through strategic relationships with content publishers, tech and telco companies, cultural and community organisation, alongside a growing and vibrant creator ecosystem. On the advertising side, the ANZ team delivers industry-leading creative campaigns for the world’s biggest global brands and ANZ’s fastest-growing businesses. We aspire to play an active and positive role within ANZ society, both as a contributor to the local economy and in the lives of the Snapchat community.  ​​We’re looking for an Agency Partner to join Snap reporting into the Head of Agency Australia! Working from our Sydney office, you’ll need the relevant sales expertise, great presentation and people skills, the ability to manage many projects at once, and a deep understanding of the digital advertising world. You will have a creative mindset and a detail-oriented approach to developing streamlined processes and ensuring the proper process controls are in place. In addition, you will also play a key role in building and growing long term business partnerships across internal teams, supporting the  Agency Team, and delivering against large commercial agreements.   What you'll do: 

  • Work on impactful priorities to maximize the impact and value of Snapchat’s advertiser solutions across our Agencies within Australia
  • Contribute to the financial performance of our Australian Agencies; work to ensure annual and quarterly partnership targets are met
  • Act as the trusted primary point of contact for our Australian Agencies
  • Develop and deliver scaled education, roadshows & programming across all Agency disciplines (media, digital, strategic planning) 
  • Understand Agencies’ businesses and develop appropriate solutions to meet their needs
  • Assist our Agency Strategy team in drafting and managing large commercial agreements and upfront agreements with key advertising partners
  • Partner closely with the local Agency team, global Agency Partners, Sales and Operations teams to track and support delivery against large commercial agreements and upfront agreements, as well as related QBRs
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth across new and existing customers
  • Track revenue performance across the Agency portfolio within Australia and determine corrective measures where needed Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally
  • Understanding of Snapchat value proposition, and the ability to describe technical or complicated ideas into plain language
  • Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support of key internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills Minimum Qualifications: 
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 4+ years of marketing, brand advertising, agency, media sales and/or online advertising experience leading businesses or accounts
  • Experience working with account contacts and growing revenue through the development of relationships Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales and marketing in a sales/commission-based role to advertising agencies
  • Someone who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to structure and improve internal processes
  • Experience in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Direct agency management experience
