About the role

What will your typical day look like?   In this rewarding role, your leadership / mentoring skills will be used to act as a senior in charge on external audit engagements. To remain as an expert in the field, you will stay updated on regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure audit quality is maintained, and participate in innovation and development of new offerings to deliver more than traditional audit services. Your audit career will be enhanced through our wide range of clients, giving you continuous exposure to complex accounting issues and business environments.     About the team   Deloitte is a global leader in providing audit and assurance services. We excavate major opportunities and identify risks beyond traditional financial reporting functions. You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:  

  • 4 years’ experience in external audit
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree or above in accounting/commerce or a related field
  • Possess a CA qualification (or similar) or close to completion
  • Professional services experience gained in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm (preferable)
  • Exposure to a variety of engagements and sectors
  • Strong communication, leadership, project management, and multitasking skills

What you'll be responsible for

  • Audit Recommendations

    Participate in the formulation of recommendations to clients based on audit findings

    Audit Procedures

    Conduct supervised audit tests and procedures to obtain sufficient and appropriate audit evidence

    Communication with Clients

    Communicate with clients to obtain information and respond to their queries related to the audit
