About the role

The Role You Could Play:    Day to day, you will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and supporting business projects relating to people systems and processes, providing system solutions to new business requirements, and leading cyclical people processes end-to-end. In addition, you will be provided incredible exposure to the business, having the opportunity to partner work closely with stakeholders to understand their system needs to create efficient, scalable, and accurate solutions which align to MECCA’s overall strategic priorities. 

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract. Some of your key responsibilities will include:  

  • Be the key product owner and subject matter expert of all operations within workday HRIS system internally, as well as managing the relationship directly with account representatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Workday enterprise systems, up and downstream applications
  • Ensure effective Workday processes are in place across all modules; HCM, Learning, Recruitment, Talent & Performance, Help, Absence and Advanced Compensation
  • Manage all workday system updates, new features, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains
  • Lead the annual performance compensation review process in partnership with the People & Education Manager
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the People Operations team What You Will Bring:

Our successful candidate will be able to leverage their personal knowledge base to be the subject matter expert in people & education systems, primarily Workday and processes to drive change and continuous improvement while embedding ongoing capability within the People & Education (HR) team.

In addition you will be able to demonstrate:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a similar in HR Operations/Shared Services role, leading direct reports
  • Extensive knowledge of Workday HRIS System and modules including system integrations for HR processes, security configurations as well as auditing resulting in optimal data integrity and accuracy
  • Demonstrated experience identifying, designing, building and implement HR System business improvements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Not essential but highly desirable; Workday implementation experience and Workday certified in; Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Recruitment, Learning, Talent and Performance.
