**About the role: **

The Pathways Talent Partner (PTP) will help us achieve our crazy big goal of making skills part of our hiring DNA. Simply put, they’ll ensure we have the right people, in the right place, with the right skills, at the right time. By supporting internal Canvanauts to seamlessly transition into new and exciting roles, you will be integral to ensuring internal applicants have an exceptional experience and continue to grow their careers at Canva. Beyond this, you will be able to think big picture and work within the Pathways team to implement initiatives that facilitate and encourage Canvanauts to grow their careers at Canva. A Pathways Talent Partner will be able to own and deliver goals to ensure Canva’s internal pathways process is world class.   At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • **Supporting **internal Canvanauts through the Pathways internal recruitment journey in collaboration with the external Talent Acquisition Partners.
  • **Complete Eligibility **assessments of Canvanuats aligned to the Pathways criteria to ensure an equitable process
  • **Partner with your hiring managers: **You will work closely with your hiring managers to gain a deeper understanding of how each role fits into Canva, educate them on best practice hiring within the Pathways space, whilst always driving consistency and offering strategic internal talent recommendations
  • **Obsess about candidate experience **: At Canva we care deeply about our People. Our candidate experience isn’t anything different. You can effectively share the Canva story, vision and culture and act as a brand ambassador.
  • **Data-driven and solution-orientated: **You are always trying to improve our hiring process and always think with a data-first and a solution-orientated approach to drive better processes, experiences and clarity in Contingent Worker hiring for yourself and the wider team
  • **Collaborate **with workforce planning, global mobility, total rewards and the people partners to ensure we are making sure we have the right people, aligned to the right goals at the right time.
  • **SME: **Be a subject matter expert on Canva internal mobility recruiting processes, tools and programs 
  • **Future Fit: **Expand the future of Pathways, bringing your unique ideas to projects and programs of work

What we're looking for:

  • You’re an independent, adaptable and highly motivated internal recruiter who loves what you do. You’re able to get into the details and deliver quality results on time. You’re a wearer of many hats and can juggle multiple priorities at the same time.
  • You’ve built out hiring processes from scratch, worked with teams that are hiring for the first time and have used your ability to think strategically to build collaborative partnerships, where stakeholders lean on you for your expertise in recruitment.
  • You have an understanding of the recruitment life cycle and the fundamentals of a recruitment journey
  • Experience in recruiting for engineering/technical positions (Preferred) 
  • Project coordination/management experience with an eye for detail and compliance
  • You are a thought Leader and a big dreamer, who fundamentally believes that internal mobility and skills development are strategic levers for Canva’s success 
  • Experience with process and/or system changes and an ability to make those changes stick and communications clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to influence senior leaders within a highly matrixed organisation.

    Create good candidate experiences and relationships by engaging and supporting applicants throughout the recruitment funnel

    Source candidates suitable for open roles, screen them, and interview them with hiring managers

    Coordinate meetings and events and align parties throughout the recruitment lifecycle
