About the role

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Commercial Finance Operations Manager. In this role, you will be tasked to build and deliver the Commercial Finance Operations Team strategy and vision, leading projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and scalability of SafetyCulture's finance operations. Includes building a road map, prioritising and executing key areas to ensure the needs of the business and Senior Leadership Team are met. This role requires a strategic thinker who can understand a problem, research and collaborate with key stakeholders (including RevOps, Data Analytics and Product & Engineering teams) to determine possible solutions and then assist with the project implementation and delivery.  How you will spend your time - Develop and manage the Commercial Finance Operations Team roadmap, which includes building project plans, clearly defining the scope, aligning with business functions, and ensuring projects are executed within required timeframes. - Collaborate closely with the GTM and Revenue Operations teams to ensure sales processes align with order-to-cash procedures. - Work in tandem with the Engineering team to identify project requirements and evaluate the feasibility and appropriateness of technical solutions, including testing and implementation. - Ensure the accuracy and completeness of key revenue metrics, including ARR and accounting revenue, by working closely with the Data Analytics and Finance teams to identify any anomalies. - Assist in executing workstreams required to implement broader company-wide initiatives aimed at driving growth and scaling the business. - Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities within the Finance function, and develop plans to address these for desired outcomes. - Conduct research on industry best practices and leading billing operations to assess areas for growth and maturity. - Oversee the order-to-cash process, managing the Accounts Receivable team and handling key processes such as invoicing.
