The Property Services Supervisor is to co-ordinate the day to day operations of a cross section of operational aspects of the property, overseeing the implementation and adherence to established policies and procedures.

The priority at all times should be:

  • Effective and efficient management of all property services and other works required to be carried out within the properties.
  • Co-ordination of specialist contractors to ensure they comply with their contract terms and conditions and nominated scope of works.
  • On-going maintenance of the Jones Lang LaSalle computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance System and other information databases, specific to Melbourne Connect such as Aconex, and iComply.
  • Co-ordination of contractors for base building and tenant fitouts/makegoods ensuring all necessary local authority, health and safety approvals and certificates have been provided, full commissioning and handover information is performed, and all Jones Lang LaSalle and Worksafe/WorkCover procedures are adhered to.
  • Compliance with all relevant statutory authorities and good engineering practices in relation to maintenance of the property structure, façade, fittings, finishes and services.
  • Be involved in preparing annual property operations, outgoings and capital works budgets and the monitoring and updating of budgets and forecasts on a quarterly basis.

Sound like you?  This is what we’re looking for: You will have a demonstrated background in building operations, either from a trade or facilities background and have a proactive and positive approach to their career. Strong communication and customer service skills are sought, along with excellent reporting abilities. Some trade qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical are preferred, coupled with a good level of financial aptitude and computer literacy

  • Trade Certificate  is desirable and FM Industry related qualifications will be favourably considered.Experience in operational/facilities components of high-rise property management preferred
  • A demonstrated ability to prioritise work within tight operational and financial deadlines.
  • A positive approach to meeting client’s needs whilst managing tenant expectations.
  • The ability to empathise with tenant needs and a demonstration of a good customer service ethic will be expected.
  • An ability to comfortably communicate with people at all levels and work in a small team environment.
  • A self-motivated reliable person is required with ability to work alone on certain projects and as a team.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
