About the role
What you’ll do
- Develop and optimise the annual and quarterly marketing plans that complement and deliver on the strategic product priorities, roadmap and key KPIs.
- Lead the development of differentiated product CVP updates that highlight the customer benefit/value.
- Oversee the development and execution of data-driven campaigns from acquisition through to customer engagement & retention.
- Partner with peers to develop cross portfolio customer marketing programs to deepen relationships with our customers.
- Drive a high performing culture of commercial accountability, continually optimising marketing campaign performance to deliver bank KPIs, whilst also driving creative excellence.
- Work with the Digital and CI tribes; drive a growth marketing mindset to develop and lead the requirements for test & learn pilots across key digital channels (e.g. email, display, social, website, search, blog etc).
- Manage the ongoing monitoring & optimisation of marketing programs via Tableau dashboards, showcasing performance against key metrics in business forums: e.g. Wealth Town Halls, Marketing Town Halls and QBRs.
- Manage priorities and capacity, ensuring the team is on track to deliver agreed upon outputs for each sprint, maintaining consistency in communication through frequent dialogue with cross tribe dependencies and sharing of resources between teams.
What we’re looking for
- Excellent understanding of Retail Banking and portfolio dynamics
- Understanding propensity models & fluent with customer data with a good understanding of test and learn frameworks, propensity tools and segment marketing approaches
- 10+ years’ experience in a financial services Marketing role, ideally focussed on integrated Product Marketing within a marketing organisation or agency
- Experience managing high performing teams
- Exposure to working with customer and intelligence functions (for analytical and targeting purposes)
- Proven experience in managing vendors and governance
- Desire to learn about our business and customers – all roles provide opportunities to contribute and add value through collaboration and proactive relationship building
- Ability to ‘think like a customer’ and to simplify the experience
