About the role

What You'll Do - Own and be accountable for quarterly + yearly revenue goals, pipeline management and growth goals for a vertical within our Sydney sales team  - Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our key media agencies, allowing us to better understand their businesses and position Spotify as an invaluable partner in overcoming their strategic challenges - Work across multiple agency departments, i.e. buying, strategy, comms planning, audio, digital, programmatic, branded content, and innovation teams to deliver successful campaigns - Understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and opportunities to build strategic advertising responses that align with client goals and objectives - Focus on consultative brand selling, creating bespoke response to briefs while educating and inspiring our clients to use Spotify to deliver on business objectives - Sell audio, video, display advertising and other integrated digital ad solutions  - Deliver best in class sales and operational customer service - Maintain a high volume of in-person client engagement with brands and agencies hitting weekly KPI’s  - Represent Spotify at events and serve as a brand ambassador, presenting our core narratives and reinforcing the strong position Spotify holds in the marketplace Who You Are - A minimum of 6+ years experience in advertising sales, business development or client facing roles within the digital media industry - You have a deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystem, especially programmatic, audio, display & video advertising - Proven track record in the Australian market of successfully managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and exceeding sales targets - Experience with programmatic advertising platforms (DSPs &SSPs)  - You hold strong relationships across the digital and programmatic community and are able to raise the profile of Spotify amongst key programmatic team - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to present effectively and close the deal - You have dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Google Slides/ Sheets & proficient Salesforce experience - Highly organised, collaborative team player who adapts well to change - You are self motivated, have a positive attitude with a can do mindset - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Where You'll Be - You will work out of our Sydney office
