Job Summary As a Business Technology Advisor, you will play an integral role in driving our four pillars within the TBTC channel and beyond. Your success in this role is built on providing exceptional project support to high-performing teams and developing and maintaining exceptional relationships with the TBTC channel and our TBTC partners.

As a Business Technology Advisor (BTA) at TBTC, you will report to the Sales and Centre Lead and support the broader account management team. This is a Full-time onsite role in the 246-260 Bourke Street Office. What We Offer

  • Leverage substantial expertise and experience as a subject matter expert to recommend Telstra’s Business products and solutions to customer portfolio.  Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities.
  • Gather relevant sources of information and insights from internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and consultation regarding developing customer solutions.
  • Apply a breadth of knowledge gained via industry trends and competitive marketplace analysis to provide input into multi-product customer deals and develop business strategies for revenue generation.
  • Make a strong contribution to the development of compelling proposals, relating to the value proposition for customer offers, while maintaining the protection of Telstra’s commercial interests and ensuring business plans continue to meet company goals.
  • Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to participate in or advise on commercial / solution requirements, and assist in new solution introduction, development, management, and release activities.
  • Provide expert guidance on the effective use of technology and solutions to achieve business outcomes in alignment with business requirements.
  • Support the broader TBTC Account management team with technical support and knowledge.
  • Meet individual and team sales and performance KPIs. About You
  • Previous experience working in a TBTC as a technology advisor or other related sales roles within Telstra with the ability to deliver simple and complex sales.
  • Proven sales experience working in the fast-paced SAAS and Technology industry.
  • High levels of contract negotiation and pricing skills
  • Highly analytical with advanced reporting skills
  • Key interest in ICT and the future technology landscape
  • Multitask who can adapt to a variety of scenarios and situations.
  • Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Embrace, adopt, and utilize Telstra tools and technology to enable better business processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to relationship building and working in partnership with key stakeholders.
