Our story begins in 2000 in a small shop front in Armadale, Victoria, where the founder of seed was inspired by the need for a one of a kind and compelling shopping experience that made children and their parents feel connected through great design. 18 years later, Seed is one of the most widely recognised Australian retailers of modern fashion and accessories.

With apparel, jewellery and footwear added to the treasury of product, Seed remains a bastion of style and substance that effortlessly withstands the test of time. Monthly collections are comprised of high quality and beautifully designed product for newborns to children aged 10, a teen collection for girls aged 8-16 years and for women of every age.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Graphic Designer to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage.   As our Digital Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating digital design solutions with a mobile-first mindset. You will work closely with the Brand Art Director, Creative Manager, and design teams to design global digital assets for Seed Heritage. This role requires a strong aesthetic sensibility, visual storytelling skills, and the ability to manage individual projects efficiently.

THE ROLE:

  • Support the concept, development, and design of monthly eDM, web, and social content.
  • Maintain digital planning decks and design presentations.
  • Develop digital marketing outputs across all categories, including monthly campaigns, partnership campaigns (e.g., Jeans for Genes, ALNF, Make a Wish), major brand moments (e.g., Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, Festive), and Seed events.
  • On-site 5 days per week in our St Kilda Rd offices.

** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: **

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in digital graphic design.
  • Excellent knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and AfterEffects.
  • Comfortable managing individual briefs on project management platforms (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong communication skills and a resourceful problem solver with the ability to propose new ideas while maintaining a cohesive brand.
  • Ability to manage individual projects and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Innate eye for detail and a healthy curiosity about the digital and fashion landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience working to tight deadlines and the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to take and resolve feedback in a live group environment.
