About the role

What this opportunity involves:  Are you a talented and experienced Communications Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the real estate industry? We have a contract role available for a skilled professional to join our team on the Lendlease account at 200 Barangaroo Avenue in Sydney. As the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective communications, and collaborating with the Project Coordination Group (PCG) for the refurbishment project of End of Trip (EOT) facilities in a commercial office tower. Your primary goal will be to facilitate the successful completion of the project by effectively managing change and securing stakeholder buy-in.       An overview of the role:   ·       Develop and implement strategies to engage with stakeholders including building tenants, building management, construction team, and relevant authorities. ·       Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify key individuals and groups and their interests, concerns, and expectations related to the refurbishment project. ·       Organise meetings, workshops, and focus groups to gather feedback, address concerns, and build consensus among stakeholders. ·       Act as a liaison between stakeholders and project management team to ensure their input is considered in project planning and decision-making processes. ·       Develop clear and concise communication materials to keep stakeholders informed about project progress, milestones, and potential disruptions. ·       Maintain communication channels including email, intranet, apps, and social media platforms to facilitate two-way communication. ·       Monitor feedback and concerns raised by stakeholders and collaborate with relevant teams to address them in a timely manner. ·       Prepare regular progress reports and updates for stakeholders, project sponsors, and senior management. ·       Coordinate with the Project Coordination Group to align communication strategies with project objectives and timelines. ·       Identify opportunities for stakeholder engagement and participation in project activities. ·       Collaborate with marketing, PR, and collateral development teams to promote positive stories and achievements related to the refurbishment project. ·       Create signage packs, templates, and communication guides based on brand guidelines. ·       Develop engagement collateral for facility staff to use, including tour scripts, FAQ documents, fact sheets, and terminology directories.   Sound like you?  This is what we’re looking for:  ·       Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. ·       Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, preferably in the construction or real estate industry. ·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ·       Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. ·       Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ·       Knowledge of project management principles and practices is desirable.
