About the role

What this opportunity involves:  The Retail Leasing Executive – VIC will be responsible for driving the retail leasing fee revenue and market share across the industry and providing leasing services to our managed clients where leasing services are applicable. The opportunity exists to grow this business across Retail Leasing including but not limited to: CBD/Strip Leasing, Large Format, QSR/Fuel and Shopping Centre. You are deal hungry, well connected and you thrive on working at pace to make sure our retail centres and strips thrive with leasing outcomes that meet our clients strategic objectives. An overview of the role:  

  • Building relationships with Retailers (local and national)
  • Developing a clear understanding of the Owner’s leasing and tenancy requirements for each individual property once appointed to a leasing assignment.
  • Actively work with Centre Managers and client to ensure each asset has a strategic leasing plan for managed assets where we provide leasing services
  • Actively demonstrate RTRL and precinct planning for retail vacancies

  • Experience as a Lease Executive within a retail environment.
  • First class relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated experience building and growing a retail leasing business within an agency environment desirable
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of complex issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines.
  • Goal oriented and focused on meeting performance targets.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen to enable the creation of monthly financial and productivity reporting.
  • Ability to produce an annual budget and forecast throughout the budget period in conjunction with the Head of Retail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to operate as a key member of the wider retail team.
  • Superior Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail

    Generate new sales opportunities and move them through the funnel by drafting outreach messages and sequences, and identifying the needs of customers

    Effectively prioritize and manage deals to meet sales targets, including coordination with AEs and Marketing to land prospects
