About the role

Description Position Purpose

The Business Change Management (BCM) team is charged with controlling, managing, and delivering a range of Programs, Projects and Change Initiatives for the CIB Securities Services business across Australia and New Zealand.

The team have a requirement for an experienced business test analyst to execute testing with our business on critical projects, reporting to the UAT Test Lead / Manager.

The Business Test Analyst is responsible for:

* Contributing to the overall test plan and run sheet. * Input and maintain test objectives matrix for user acceptance testing and joint user acceptance testing. * Input into the test environment set ups including data cuts, refreshes and code deployment. * Understanding the business requirements and converting them to test cases. * Involvement with user acceptance testing activities including test execution with business users and defect retesting. * Creation and/or sourcing of test data. * Defect triage, tracking and issue resolution. * Input into regular status reporting on testing progress including defect reporting. * Awareness of the project risk assessments for testing and ability to identify and escalate any risks in a timely manner. * Assist with the client engagement for all joint testing activities. * Contribute to test completion reports. * Contribute to project post implementation reviews and reporting to the business test manager. * Contribute to continuous improvement of the testing practice.

Responsibilities

* Controlling - keep projects on track by:

* Measuring: checking test progress toward meeting its objectives. * Evaluating: determining the cause of deviations from the plan. * Correcting: Taking corrective actions to address deviations by managing risks and issues. * Achieving the above by defining baselines, tracking test progress, and test status reporting, determining, and taking corrective actions.

* Stakeholder Management:

* Working with project managers, Business analysts, Operational teams, and subject matter experts. * Working with IT locally & globally * Business partnering with stakeholders internally and externally (clients, vendors, regulators).

Experience and Qualifications required

Required:

* 5 years + testing experience. * Experience working with an offshore team. * Experience in Customer (internal/external) facing roles. * Working knowledge of IT systems and environments. * Test automation experience with Selenium and UFT. * Experience with applications like JIRA / Confluence.

Desirable:

* Knowledge of custodian and/or funds management administration. * Experience with financial institutions. * Experience working with testing repository tools like Octane. * Tertiary qualification in IT.
