About the role

This newly created role sits within the Greenhouse Collective and is accountable for the creation of exceptional and compelling dynamic content within our digital store canvases. As part of the Brand and Marketing team, the Motion Designer will play a pivotal role in elevating our in store digital creative. Supporting the Design Lead and Senior Digital Designer to deliver content that reflects our Woolworths brand values whilst considering the holistic brand and store experience for our customers.

What you'll do

  • Design and deliver digital motion experiences through end to end project management, creating digital assets and delivering against deadlines.  
  • Coordinate multiple digital assets and/or projects at one time and ensure design and quality control are of the highest standard
  • Create storyboards, style frames, and animatics to visualise concepts and communicate ideas
  • Produce captivating animations, transitions, and visual effects for Digital In Store POS 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and software in the motion graphics industry

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years Digital agency/in-house studio experience working in a Motion Designer role 
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Strong experience and understanding of motion graphics principles, animation techniques, and visual storytelling
  • Proven experience in graphic design, illustration and 2D animation
  • Have the ability to clearly articulate solutions and take a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
