About the role

We are seeking a proactive and passionate Community Lead to drive the growth of our community. In this role, you will be responsible for actioning startup community initiatives, delivering partnerships, and planning events that engage and support our members. You will serve as a bridge between our team and the community, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Community Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand and engage our community of founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
  • Startup Initiatives: Build and execute community initiatives that promote collaboration, learning, and growth among members, ensuring they are tailored to meet the community's needs and aligned with Fishburners’ mission.
  • Partnership Delivery: Work with the Head of Ecosystem to build and maintain partnerships that enhance community offerings and provide valuable resources to our members.
  • Event Planning: Organise and execute community events, workshops, and networking opportunities that foster connections and knowledge sharing.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate the work of the Fishburners team to community members, ensuring they are informed and engaged with ongoing initiatives.
  • Community Satisfaction: Own the community satisfaction score by gathering feedback and insights from members, addressing their needs, and continuously improving the community experience.

You are a dynamic and enthusiastic community builder with a passion for supporting startups and fostering innovation. With a strong background in community engagement, you have a proven track record of successfully growing and nurturing communities. Your understanding of the unique challenges faced by entrepreneurs allows you to create initiatives that genuinely benefit members and drive collaboration.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to connect with diverse audiences and effectively convey the vision and goals of Fishburners. Your strong organizational abilities and project management skills empower you to execute multiple initiatives seamlessly, ensuring a high level of member satisfaction.

You are proactive in gathering feedback and insights from the community, using this information to continuously enhance the member experience.
