About the role
Our Credit Operations team is integral to the success of our business at Wisr, and this is the opportunity for an experienced Credit Analyst to join the team in a key role, responsible for assessing and making decisions on consumer applications for unsecured and secured asset finance loans. This could include loan purposes such as debt consolidation, motor vehicles, renovations and more.
This is not an ordinary credit position - you will be granted a high level of autonomy, responsibility and freedom to make decisions. This role is responsible for ensuring risk and customer credit worthiness is assessed in alignment with Wisr’s Credit Policy within relevant agreed time frames.
What you'll be responsible for

Loan application credit decisioning
Assess and make credit decisions on consumer loan applications, ensuring information is accurate and genuine

Loan serviceability checks
Perform loan serviceability checks as well as identity checks, ensuring fraud detection and prevention

Document Review
Review and interpret a wide range of documents such as bank statements to ensure the correct information is disclosed and captured on consumer loan applications
Skills you'll need

Current Delegated Lending Authority (DLA)
Must hold a current Delegated Lending Authority up to $50k, working with consumer lending applications.

Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exists in loan applications and documentation

Works with others by being open, clear in communication and listening to achieve goals
