About the role

We are seeking outstanding talent with a passion for Clients to join the Financial Markets and Treasury 2026 Graduate program. You will receive best in class training and experience multiple businesses with the aim to get you servicing our clients to help them managing their risk within your first year.

We are looking for people who are client and solutions orientated with strong communication skills and attention to detail, driven to support our high performing team to continue to deliver growth.

In short, you have to have the skills and demeanour where we can "put you in front of our clients"!

Role definition:

• The role is part of the graduate program and will gain training and experience across multiple client facing teams, ranging from Business and Consumer Group Advisory or Institutional & Corporate Group (public side) or DCM&S (private side)

• The main responsibility of this role is to support senior Sales specialists or corporate originators including maintaining client databases, documentation management and assistance with delivering and executing trades or bond mandates for all markets in which Westpac is active or has aspirations.

• The client set covers all corporate borrowers in Australia as well as maintaining coverage/execution responsibilities for certain corporate clients

• The role requires co-ordination with the broader origination team as well as with other teams such as the relationship managers in the Corporate and Institutional Bank.

Objectives:

• Position Westpac as the leader the markets in which it operates

• Actively participate in the marketing strategy to these and other clients, including taking responsibility for providing all regular updates to this base (and for wider distribution).

• Support coverage and other responsibilities within the corporate client set as appropriate

• Assist and support operational excellence with regard to meeting relevant policies and procedures and Financial Markets compliance plans.
