About the role
As our Operations Manager, you’ll help build, optimise, and run the operational engine that keeps Fishburners moving. You’ll work across core business operations, digital transformation, in-person experiences, and customer experience to create seamless, scalable processes that drive efficiency and impact.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Keep our operations running smoothly – Implement best-in-class workflows, remove bottlenecks, and ensure everything works as efficiently as possible.
- Support in-person experiences – Make sure our programs, events, and initiatives are executed seamlessly from an operational perspective.
- Lead digital transformation efforts – Work with internal teams to implement automation, workflow optimisation, and systems management that improve efficiency.
- Manage internal processes – Own onboarding workflows, documentation, and tools that keep teams aligned and running at full speed.
Oversee physical space operations – Ensure that startups have the best experience possible in our space, with smooth touchpoints and frictionless interactions.
What We’re Looking For 💡
You're a strong operator who thrives in fast-moving environments, bringing structure to ambiguity and ensuring things just work. With a bias toward action, you’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities, streamlining processes, and keeping everything running smoothly. Whether it’s refining internal systems, improving operational efficiency, or making sure in-person experiences are seamless, you get things done—and done well.
You’ll be successful in this role if you:
✅ Have 3+ years of experience in operations, process management, or systems optimisation
✅ Love building processes, improving workflows, and implementing automation
✅ Have experience with digital tools, CRM systems, and workflow management platforms
✅ Enjoy working cross-functionally to ensure teams are running efficiently
✅ Are highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive—you see problems before they arise
✅ Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and love optimising for scale
