About the role

We are looking for an Account Executive with a strong background in Risk Management, GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance), Cybersecurity, or ESG solutions. You will lead the sales cycle - from identifying opportunities to closing high-value deals - with decision-makers in Risk, Compliance, IT, and Audit functions.

1. Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Own and exceed sales targets for new business and expansion revenue within ANZ.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan, including lead generation, pipeline management, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify and develop new industry verticals and customer segments for our Risk Management solutions.

2. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and professionals in Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Assurance.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand customer pain points and position CGR’s solutions effectively.
  • Deliver high-impact sales presentations and demonstrations tailored to executive audiences.

3. Solution-Based Selling & Collaboration

  • Lead a consultative sales approach, positioning our solutions as strategic enablers for risk and compliance professionals.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Sales Engineering teams to drive targeted campaigns and industry-specific solutions.
  • Partner with Client Services to ensure seamless customer onboarding and long-term success.

4. Sales Process & CRM Management 

  • Track and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and interactions within CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Manage sales forecasting, territory planning, and deal execution.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Enterprise Sales Expertise: 5+ years of experience selling SaaS software, ideally in Risk Management, GRC, Cybersecurity, ESG, or Third-Party Risk solutions.
  • Strategic Sales Acumen: Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and navigate multi-stakeholder decision-making processes.
  • Executive-Level Selling: Experience engaging and selling to senior executives particularly in Risk, Compliance, Audit, and IT functions.
  • Consultative Selling Approach: Ability to identify customer challenges, tailor solutions, and demonstrate measurable value.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful sales presentations.
  • CRM & Sales Process Mastery: Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and sales automation tools.
  • Self-Driven & Results-Oriented: A proactive, goal-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
  • Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel within ANZ (approx. once a month).

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience selling GRC, ESG, Cyber Risk, or Third-Party Risk Management solutions.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations such as ISO 27001, APRA CPS 230, CPS 234, NIST, or local compliance standards.
  • Background in working with medium to large businesses, in energy, mining, transportation, infrastructure, government, or regulated industries.
