About the job

This job is about joining Western Health as a Medical Administration Manager for the 2027 Clinical Year, starting on 1 February 2027. You'll be responsible for

Working closely with CMO and DMS

The trainee will work closely with and under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Directors of Medical Services (DMS) as part of the CMO’s Office to achieve organisational and strategic priorities.
👩‍⚕️

Oversight of medical workforce

The trainee will also work closely with the Medical Workforce and Medical Education Units providing oversight of Interns, HMOs and Registrars (pre-vocational trainees).

Participation in clinical governance

The trainee will also be exposed to Clinical Governance in a complex multi-campus healthcare setting through participation in accreditation, credentialing, clinical incident review, complaints management and quality improvement activities.

Registered medical practitioner

Valid registration with AHPRA as a medical practitioner.

3+ years clinical experience

Minimum of 3 years general clinical experience (PGY4+).

RACMA trainee status

Current trainee status with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
