You'll be responsible for

Conducting assessments

Undertaking evidence-based assessments across multiple CYMHS program areas to understand presenting issues.

Developing treatment options

Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and deliver appropriate treatment options for consumers.

Participating in research

Working with other mental health professionals on research projects and quality improvement initiatives.

Skills you'll need

🧠

Clinical experience

Two years post-registration supervised experience in a clinical area directly applicable to Child and Youth Mental Health Services, with demonstrated experience in providing assessment and case management to children and adolescents.
🤝

Interpersonal skills

High-level interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with experience in liaising effectively with other services and agencies.
📋

Assessment skills

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in either contemporary Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology practice with children and adolescents, including evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions.
