You'll be responsible for

Gaining hands-on experience

Getting hands-on experience at work alongside structured TAFE training, working towards a nationally recognised trade qualification.
⚙️

Learning safe work systems

Trained in all Portland Aluminium safe work systems and health and safety requirements, using a variety of tooling and machinery.
🛠️

Diagnosing and repairing equipment

Involved in the diagnosis, repair, servicing and maintenance of components of fixed plant mechanical equipment.

Mechanical fitting knowledge

Understanding of mechanical fitting principles and practices.

Completion of Year 10 with satisfactory results in Mathematics and English.
