The Associate Director – Project Architect position is all about leading the design and delivery of complex facilities in highly regulated environments. This job plays a crucial role in ensuring that architectural projects meet safety and operational requirements while fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. You'll be responsible for

Leading architectural design

Lead the architectural design and delivery of complex defence, research, and nuclear infrastructure projects within highly regulated environments.

Acting as Project Architect

Act as Project Architect, maintaining design intent and ensuring coordinated, high-quality outcomes across all project stages.
📄

Overseeing design development

Oversee design development, technical documentation, and compliance with relevant standards including Defence, NCC, IAEA, and applicable nuclear frameworks.

Key criteria

🏛️

Architectural degree and registration

Accredited degree in Architecture and registration as an Architect in Australia.

10+ years in architecture

Proven experience in architecture, focusing on complex, safety-critical projects.
