Performing thorough assessments to understand the needs of clients and develop tailored support plans.

Writing behavioural support plans

Creating comprehensive plans that outline strategies and interventions to support clients effectively.

Providing behavioural support interventions

Delivering one-on-one and group-based support in various settings, including clinics, homes, and schools.

Skills you'll need

Experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner

Demonstrated experience in providing behavioural support or in a similar job, showcasing a strong understanding of client needs.

Proficient BSP registration

Holding a valid and proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner registration to ensure compliance and effectiveness in practice.

Effective communication skills

Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with parents, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to foster collaboration.
