Aurecon is on the lookout for a passionate Roads Drafter to join the Transport team in WA. This job is all about creating high-quality design documentation and collaborating with engineers throughout all project phases, from concept to construction. You'll be responsible for
✏️
Preparing design drawings
Preparing detailed road and highway design drawings including alignments, long sections, cross sections, drainage layouts, and pavement details in accordance with MRWA standards and Austroads guidelines.🖥️
Producing 2D and 3D models
Producing and managing 2D and 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, OpenRoads Designer, and Civil 3D.🤝
Coordinating with teams
Coordinating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams (drainage, structures, traffic, utilities) to integrate design elements across large infrastructure projects.Key criteria
🛣️
Demonstrated experience in civil/roads drafting
Experience working on WA road or highway projects, ideally with MRWA standards.View

Proficiency in AutoCAD and related software
Strong skills in AutoCAD, with experience in OpenRoads Designer and/or Civil 3D.View

Understanding of road geometry and drainage
Solid grasp of road geometry, drainage, and earthworks modelling.View
