Providing specialist diabetes nursing care and self-management education for patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, including insulin pump and diabetes technology support.

Working across services

Working across inpatient and outpatient services, commencing within the Diabetes team and expanding to broader clinical settings as the role develops.
📈

Contributing to clinical leadership

Contributing to clinical leadership, education, quality improvement, and research activities within a tertiary diabetes and endocrinology service.

Diabetes nursing experience

Demonstrated experience in caring for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes patients.

Completion or progression toward this qualification is highly regarded.
