As a Community Engagement Worker with The Salvation Army, you will have the opportunity to design and deliver impactful community programs that respond to local needs. Your work will help transform lives and futures, fostering connection and inclusion within the community. You'll be responsible for

Building relationships

Building trusted relationships with vulnerable and socially isolated young people (12–30 years), fostering connection, inclusion, and belonging.
🎉

Delivering programs

Delivering engaging youth and young adult programs on Friday and Saturday evenings, alongside outreach activities that connect with the local community.

Identifying needs

Identifying participant needs and supporting access to appropriate services through referrals and ongoing engagement.

Key criteria

🎓

Tertiary qualifications in community services

Minimum certificate level in Community Services or Social Work.
