You'll be responsible for

Supporting grant administration

Support the administration of Council’s Community Grant and Award Programs, including processes to administer grant applications and appoint assessment panels, consistent with Council’s policies and guidelines.

Delivering community training

Support the delivery of a program of training and support to the community to help design and deliver effective projects, partner with others where appropriate, and develop quality funding applications that result in positive community impact.

Processing grant payments

Administer the processing of grant payments and acquittals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines.

Skills you'll need

🎓

Post-secondary qualification in administration or other relevant qualification

A qualification or relevant experience in the implementation and administration of grants programs is essential for success in this job.

Exceptional attention to detail

Demonstrated experience efficiently undertaking administrative processes with exceptional attention to detail is crucial for this job.

Data extraction from Windows and grants applications

Experience in extracting data from Windows and grants applications, preferably Smarty Grants, to support preparation of reports and analysis is important.
