You'll be responsible for

🗣️

Delivering counselling

Deliver high-quality counselling and psychotherapy to families impacted by trauma, including domestic and family violence, historical child sexual assault, and mental health concerns.

Conducting assessments

Conduct strengths-based assessments, implement risk minimisation strategies, and develop safety plans.
👩‍🏫

Co-facilitating programs

Co-facilitate therapeutic group work and psychoeducation programs for women, children, and young people.

Skills you'll need

🧑‍⚕️

Counselling experience

5+ years’ experience counselling families impacted by domestic and family violence and trauma, including children and young people.

Trauma-informed approach

A trauma-informed, strengths-based approach using a range of therapeutic modalities.

Cultural sensitivity

A respectful, culturally sensitive approach to working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
