As a Cyber Security Detection Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and tuning high-fidelity detections, building automation, and expanding telemetry coverage across various platforms. You'll be responsible for

🔍

Designing and implementing detections

Design, implement, and tune high-fidelity detections across SIEM and XDR platforms, translating threat intelligence into actionable coverage.
🤖

Developing automation and orchestration

Develop automated incident response playbooks and integrate AI to reduce manual operational load and improve response efficiency.
🛡️

Providing SOC support

Provide overflow support during high-volume periods, including alert triage, initial investigation, and escalation assistance across a follow-the-sun model.

Key criteria

🔍

5+ years in security operations

Solid experience in SOC, detection engineering, or incident response

3+ years in detection and automation

Expertise in designing custom detections and security automation

Proficiency in query languages

Confident in KQL, Splunk SPL, or SQL for data analysis
