This job is an exciting opportunity to join South Eastern Sydney Local Health District as a Diabetes Educator Registered Nurse. You'll be responsible for

🏥

Coordinating nursing care

Coordinating and delivering high quality nursing care to patients/clients of The Sutherland Hospital consistent with SESLHD and TSH policies.

Providing health interventions

Responsible for the provision of safe, efficient and effective health interventions related to diabetes education and management.
📚

Acting as a clinical resource

Serving as a clinical resource person for patients, families, carers, and other health professionals in diabetes management.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse

Unrestricted registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.

Diabetes Educator credential

Completion of an ADEA-recognised course and credentialing as a Diabetes Educator.

Communication skills

Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication abilities.
