This job is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Domestic and Family Violence Practitioner (DFVP) to deliver essential support services to clients facing vulnerabilities and from disadvantaged families. You'll be responsible for
🛡️
Delivering crisis counselling
Providing high-quality and trauma-informed crisis counselling, safety planning, information advocacy, and referrals to external support services for individuals experiencing domestic and family violence.🔍
Conducting risk assessments
Autonomously undertaking comprehensive risk assessments and providing support to other practitioners in complex situations.🤝
Collaborating with stakeholders
Working collaboratively with internal and external domestic and family violence workers, mental health support workers, and legal professionals to enhance client safety and access to justice.What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in social work or psychology
