As a Principal Architect – IP at Optus, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end network architecture across mobile, fixed, and cloud domains. Your leadership will ensure that our IP network designs are scalable, secure, and resilient, aligning with Optus’ long-term technology roadmap. You'll be responsible for

Leading IP architecture strategy
Lead and govern end‑to‑end IP architecture strategy, blueprints and design standards aligned to Optus’ long‑term network vision.🔧
Driving network design decisions
Drive strategic network design decisions across mobile, fixed, transport and cloud platforms.🤖
Collaborating with vendors
Collaborate with vendors to assess emerging technologies and guide capability uplift across the network.Key criteria

Extensive telecommunications experience
Demonstrated experience as a senior engineer or architect in telecommunications.View

Deep expertise in IP networking
Proven knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and related technologies.View

Experience with multi-domain architectures
Strong background in mobile, fixed, and cloud architectures including 4G/5G.View
