Designing specifications

Designing AC specifications, DC power systems, and equipment configurations as per carrier requirements.

Assessing cable sizing

Assessing AC and DC cable sizing, battery reserves, and heat loads for equipment.

Reviewing designs

Reviewing designs for compliance with carrier specifications and Australian Standards.

Key criteria

Electrical engineering qualification

Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunication Engineering.

Membership in Engineers Australia

Eligible for or a recognised Member of Institute of Engineers Australia (MIEAust).
