About the job

This job is about being an Electronic Engineer within CSIRO’s National Collections and Marine Infrastructure research unit. You will play a vital role in developing advanced electronic systems that support marine and atmospheric research. Collaborating with multidisciplinary experts, you will have the opportunity to see your innovative designs come to life, making a real-world impact in ocean and climate research.

You'll be responsible for

Developing advanced systems

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop advanced systems and platforms for oceanographic research projects.

Client liaison

Liaising appropriately with clients and stakeholders to understand their project requirements and convey technical concepts effectively.

Testing and validation

Testing and validating the operation of equipment and instrumentation in the field or at sea.

Key criteria

Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering

Essential qualification for developing advanced electronic systems.
