This job is about providing high-quality withdrawal management nursing care at the Geelong Withdrawal Unit. The role is crucial in ensuring individuals receive compassionate and effective support during their detox journey. The team values collaboration, safety, and a trauma-informed approach, creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

You'll be responsible for

🏥

Delivering high-quality client care

Provide high-quality client care through admissions, discharges, clinical observations, withdrawal scales, and medication administration.
🤝

Supporting multidisciplinary collaboration

Support multidisciplinary collaboration by working closely with GPs, RNs, AOD workers, and support staff.

Maintaining accurate documentation

Maintain accurate documentation including client notes, pathology tracking, and unit audit reporting.

Nursing qualification

Relevant Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration.

Completed or willing to complete within 12 months.
