This job is about leading the daily operations of the Faculty’s Digital Fabrication Lab, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery of fabrication services. By guiding technicians and student interns, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with technical challenges and shaping training processes that enhance ABP’s innovative Maker Spaces. The team values collaboration and a commitment to safety, quality, and inclusivity.

You'll be responsible for

🏭

Overseeing lab operations

Oversee daily Digital Fabrication Lab operations, including design-for-fabrication support, job scheduling, point-of-sale and workflow monitoring.
👥

Supervising staff and interns

Supervise technicians and student interns, ensuring adherence to lab procedures, rules, and high service standards.
🛡️

Upholding safety practices

Uphold and improve OHS practices, contributing to safety procedures, incident management and student supervision.

CNC router experience

Demonstrated experience operating CNC routers for fabrication tasks.
