The job is about becoming a Field Technician in the SKA-Low Maintenance and Deployment team at CSIRO, where you will assist in constructing, assembling, and maintaining the SKA-Low telescope. You'll be responsible for

🔧

Constructing and deploying systems

Constructing, deploying, and integrating station systems for the SKA-Low telescope, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Performing maintenance tasks

Carrying out routine inspections, installation, replacement, repair, and maintenance of RF systems, optical fibre, and electronic components.
👥

Collaborating with team members

Supporting Field Engineers and mentoring junior technicians during assembly, construction, and maintenance activities.

Technical qualification or experience

Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in electronics or RF systems.
