First Nations Teacher Assistants provide professional culture and contextual support in the classroom and school environment under the general supervision of the Classroom Teacher.📚
Assisting in teaching programs
Assist with the development of teaching programs and provide cultural advice and awareness to support improved learning outcomes.🤝
Liaising with stakeholders
Provide direct feedback to teachers, parents, and guardians for First Nations students and liaise with community and educational agencies as required.Key criteria
