The job of a Medical Officer - Locum at Serco is all about making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of Defence members. This opportunity allows you to work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that ADF personnel receive the highest quality medical care. You'll be responsible for

🏥

Delivering primary medical care

Providing primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures.

Assessing fitness for duty

Assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty and providing care to support their health pre and post deployments.
💬

Providing medical technical advice

Offering medical technical advice to the Joint Health Unit Commanding Officer and other health leaders.

Key criteria

Medical registration in Australia

Current unconditional registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.

Fellowship qualifications

Fellowship of FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration required.

Postgraduate experience

Minimum of 2 years full-time GP experience in the last 5 years.
