As a Global Trade Compliance Specialist at Shield AI, you will embark on an exciting journey to protect service members and civilians through intelligent systems. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex regulatory frameworks and ensuring compliance across global operations. The team thrives on collaboration, working closely with engineering, supply chain, and legal teams to integrate trade compliance seamlessly into every aspect of the business.

You'll be responsible for

Providing expert guidance

Provide expert guidance on export and import requirements under Australian, U.S., and international trade control laws (including ITAR, EAR, and Australian Defence Export Controls).
📋

Managing authorizations

Manage export and import authorizations, including license applications, permit tracking, and recordkeeping.
🔒

Conducting risk assessments

Conduct trade compliance risk assessments, internal audits, and investigations; support remediation and continuous improvement.

Trade compliance expertise

5+ years of experience in trade compliance and export control.
