You'll be responsible for

Undertaking maintenance and repairs

You will undertake maintenance and repairs on a range of plant items, vehicles, and mechanical equipment.

Supervising apprentices or staff

There may be occasions where you will supervise apprentices or staff assisting other mechanics across the area.
⚙️

Installation and modification of machinery

You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and modification of complex hydraulic/pneumatic machinery.

Key criteria

Heavy vehicle mechanical trade certification

Completion of a Heavy Vehicle Mechanical trade is essential.

Demonstrated experience working on a variety of heavy vehicles.
