The Locomotive Asset Planner at Pacific National plays a pivotal role in shaping long-term asset strategies that enhance fleet performance and reliability. This job is all about blending maintenance planning with data-driven insights to empower better asset decisions. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with finance, operations, and asset management teams to ensure that all initiatives align with operational requirements and business priorities.

You'll be responsible for

Developing and maintaining asset plans

Develop and maintain a rolling 12–36 month asset plan for the locomotive fleet.
🔧

Identifying major maintenance programs

Identify and plan major maintenance programs, overhauls, upgrades and life-extension initiatives.
💼

Building business cases

Build and develop business cases to support capital and operational expenditure.

Asset planning experience

Demonstrated experience in asset planning within rail or heavy industry.
