You'll be responsible for

Performing scheduled servicing and maintenance
Carrying out regular maintenance tasks, including preventative measures and running repairs to ensure locomotives are fit for service.🔍
Conducting detailed inspections
Inspecting major locomotive components such as traction motors and braking systems to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.🖥️
Using diagnostic software and equipment
Employing OEM diagnostic tools and schematics to identify and isolate faults in locomotive systems.Key criteria

Trade qualification in relevant field
Possession of Cert III or equivalent in Mechanical Fitting, Diesel Fitting, or Electrician.View

Experience in locomotive maintenance
Demonstrated experience maintaining locomotives or heavy industrial/mobile equipment.View

Proven ability to use diagnostic tools, schematics, and measurement equipment.View
