This job is about joining Deloitte’s newly created Internal Control Specialist Team, where impactful client work meets real community benefit. The team focuses on advising significant businesses on their control environments, ensuring resilience and readiness in a transformational landscape. Collaboration and a commitment to diversity and inclusion are at the heart of how the team operates.

You'll be responsible for

Advising clients

Advising some of Australia’s most significant businesses and organisations on their control environments and providing assurance on the frameworks that stakeholders rely on.
🔧

Developing controls frameworks

Working with some of Australia’s largest ASX listed companies to develop controls transformation frameworks, end to end process and controls assessment, design and operating effectiveness testing and process and controls transformation.

Delivering internal audit services

Delivering differentiated internal audit services and transforming internal controls by harnessing the power of digital and data.

Skills you'll need

📊

Audit/Accounting experience

Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Audit/Accounting background ideally in Professional Services, is desired but not required
🤝

Stakeholder management skills

Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, and able to demonstrate high levels of initiative
🗣️

Communication skills

Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and coaching skills are highly regarded and will position you as a trusted advisor with your stakeholders.
