Taking a mature approach to design work

Considering requirements relating to marketing, patients, customers, human factors, usability, therapy performance, environmental factors, and design for manufacturing and assembly.

Building prototypes

Using a range of techniques including additive manufacturing and hand tools to create prototypes.

Designing and performing tests

Ensuring products meet requirements and specifications under anticipated usage scenarios and operating conditions.

Mechanical engineering qualification

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Biomedical Engineering.

2+ years product development experience

Demonstrated experience in product development, preferably in medical devices.

3D CAD modelling skills

Experience with 3D CAD modelling, preferably using Creo or similar software.
