You'll be responsible for

Conducting maintenance and repairs
Carrying out planned maintenance, inspections, and defect repairs across various mechanical systems to ensure operational reliability.đ
Maintaining accurate records
Keeping accurate maintenance logs and ensuring the stores, workshop, and machine shop are well-organized.đ
Participating in technical tasks
Assisting with tasks like telescope array reconfiguration and collaborating with staff to support observatory functions.Key criteria

Mechanical trade qualification
Certificate III or Diploma in Engineering - Mechanical Trade required.View
