As a Multicultural Child Protection Caseworker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in the community. You'll be responsible for

Responding to reports

Responding to reports about children or young people who may have been harmed or where there are safety concerns, prioritising their safety and wellbeing.
🤝

Collaborating with families

Working sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children, and other agencies to develop safety plans and complete risk assessments.

Providing casework support

Supporting families through primary and secondary casework, cultural consultations, and language support as needed.

Key criteria

👶

Child protection experience

Minimum of 2 years in child protection or casework.

Relevant degree

Completed or near completion of a degree in social work or related field.

Proven verbal and written communication skills for relationship building.
