As an After Hours Practitioner, you will provide essential support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that young people receive the care they need when it matters most. The MacKillop National After-Hours Service values collaboration and is committed to creating a supportive atmosphere for both staff and the young people they serve.

You'll be responsible for

Providing therapeutic support

Delivering responsive, therapeutic support across various care programs to create safer environments for young people.

Coordinating referrals

Helping coordinate referrals from key agencies, ensuring every call leads to appropriate care.

Supporting young people

Being a steady hand and calming voice for young people in crisis, making a real difference every shift.

Key criteria

🌍

Knowledge of Aboriginal culture

Understanding of cultural values and current issues faced by Aboriginal youth.

Demonstrated experience working in youth services or residential care settings.
