The Network Engineer position is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established organisation on a 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining the enterprise network and voice infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across multi-site environments. You'll be responsible for

Monitoring network operations and support

Monitor network performance and respond to alerts, outages, and service degradation. Diagnose and resolve Level 2–3 issues across LAN, WAN, wireless, internet, and VPN environments. Complete routine configuration changes on switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
🛠️

Performing network maintenance

Conduct scheduled maintenance including firmware/software updates, hardware lifecycle tasks, and patching. Support deployment of new network devices such as switches, routers, access points, and appliances.
📈

Providing project support

Support senior engineers in network upgrade and deployment projects. Carry out implementation tasks including device configuration, hardware installation, cabling checks, and testing.

Key criteria

2–4 years network support experience

Hands-on experience in network engineering or support roles.
